Hosting and server log data
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical connection data (server log files) transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. This data is used solely to ensure reliable operation, detect attacks and maintain IT security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and is deleted automatically after a short time.
Cookies
This website only uses strictly necessary cookies or local storage, for example to remember that you've dismissed the cookie notice. These are required for the site to function and are exempt from consent under Section 25(2) TDDDG (the German Telecommunications-Digital Services-Data Protection Act). No cookies are used for analytics or marketing purposes.
No analytics or tracking tools
We deliberately do not use web analytics services, marketing pixels or third-party font services. All fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
External directions link to OpenStreetMap
On the location page we link to OpenStreetMap for directions. This map is not embedded; it only opens after a deliberate click, in a new tab. Once you follow that link, OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy applies.
Google Maps on the location page
On the location page you can choose to load an interactive Google Maps view. The map is only requested from the servers of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, once you actively click the "Load map" button. Doing so transmits your IP address and other technical data to Google, potentially including a transfer to the United States. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent for the future at any time. The map will only load again once you consent again.

Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, request) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We do not pass this data on to third parties.
Retention period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, a right to data portability, and a right to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Data Protection Commissioner of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Niedersachsen).
